My topic is gentrification and to find more information i searched up housing affordability, wealth influx, NYC gentrification. A black reporter for the new york times wrote about how gentrification is impacting black homeowners. It honestly not easy finding much articles on this topic from people within the community and actually understand the experience. Throught my time researching i realized there are many black homeowners that don’t want to give up their homes for people who aren’t apart of their communities or shared their same experiences. Gentrification is a big problem all over new york and low income people have no where to go that easily .
