some key themes were love, community and interconnectedness. this class made me think about how im connected to my community and the world regarding palestine. if i were to change anything i wouldnt allow students to get too pesonal about how the issues regarding community affect them specifically because i felt that their were a lot of tangents that didnt cinnect very much but i also think these had some value to actualize our knowledge in the class. i would encourage quiet students to talk more next time. ive applied this class to getting to know my neighbors and systems of oppression and putting love first with strangers as they usually arent malicious. i would describe the class as empowering each other to connect to each other and neighbors to change the world and teaching us community love.
