the topic i chose is gentrification. its when poor urban areas are transformed by wealthier residents, improving housing, and attracting new businesses, low income citizens end up having to move due to rent increases. Im interested in learning about why this happens and how it can be prevented without any violence or controversy. Low income communities especially public housing areas get affected the most.
